The Professional Track And Field Course Teaching Condition And Strategy Of Athletic Education In Xinjiang College

In June 2003, the ministry of education issued the project of the professional undergraduate course in athletics education in whole country (the course project for short as follows) in which it combined the out-date track and field as a whole, it also scooped out and expanded the resouses of the track and field course, added many new teaching content like cross-country regularly at a same spot, outdoor activities, skill for survivng in the wild.The track and field course is a main professional course of the athletics education. For a long time, to pursue the technique, competition, integrity, systematization in the track and field too much. It ingnered the teaching in the development of students'abilities and their all-round improvement and didn't make full use of the function of the track and field activities as a means of getting healthy. The Uigur minority autonomous region of Xinjiang lies in the west of china, where various nations live together. Because of the special geography position and sorts of social,historical reasons, Xinjiang have a very big margin with the hinterland cities such as in economy,culture and athletics etc. The athletics taugh in school is a branch of the athletics, however the track and field teaching condition is one of important factors which directly influnce the quality of athletics education in school. So we need to pay more attention to current conditions of the general track and field teaching in athletics education in Xinjiang colleges.Accoding to"course project"in 2003 issued by the ministry of education by field study, this article demonstrated the author's investigation on reforms of track and field teaching athletic department in Xinjiang, the teaching management,teaching approaches,teaching content,the basic facilities,teachers'seniority then analysed some phenomenon that the student understand shortage to the track and field value; Hold back the improvement in athletics teaching; The teaching content have been changed much but most of the teaches are unfamiliar with the new teaching content; The teaching quality is evaluated by the results of the students; The whole quality of the teachers are to be improved.Aiming at those phenomena, the article delivers some measures:strengthen the cooperation and communication between colleges and construct the system of the track and field courses which their own characteristic; carry through the...
