All the subjects in elementary education, including Informatics, start to design the new edition of teaching materials in order to meet the needs of today's situation associated with the implementation of curriculum reforms. The original "teaching-drill" textbooks that take the presented knowledge as primary purpose cannot be able to adapt the existing social demand. This requires the new teaching material to provide support for students' learning abilities in independence, cooperation and study.With the development and implementation of this research subject, the new edition of teaching material which meet the needs of students will be produced to improve their information literacy in the ways below:1) Essential IT knowledge and skill2) The ability of using IT to solve problem3) Essential moral standardThe periodic research achievement is the trial version of informatics teaching material. It's used in Shanghai to collect the feedbacks from students, teachers and relevant peoples after authorized by the jury of teaching materials.The final research achievement will be the official version of informatics teaching material. It consists of those parts below:A compulsory textbook for one-year use;A synchronized exercise book;A synchronized compact disk;A planned informatics website for the teachers and students.The new edition will begin using according to the plan in the summer of 2006, Shanghai.This thesis also launched the discussion on the school-based informatics teaching materials. Embarking from schools, teachers and students' characteristic, the school-based teaching materials are some meaningful. The teaching materials are helpful to the students to form their special skills because they proceed from their needs and hobbies.The school-based teaching materials and the national editions complete each other in information literacy and skill so that they can make the school education serve the society well. The research is launched by the case of Shanghai Fuxing senior high school, from which we learn that the school-based teaching materials cannot be developed without rigorous science manner.The thesis discussed students' evaluation in the informatics teaching material and provided the demo version of the evaluation precept. Compared with the traditional precept, it insisted that the students participate in the precept formulation. In view of the "teaching material evaluation" part, the always-difficult precept, the new plan has the certain reference value for the improvable ideas.
