The thesis aims at deeply discussing the Chinese Knight-errant, chivalrous spirit and its impact on Wushu practicers from theoretical aspect.Ancient Chinese knight-errant is mostly made up by the people whose temperament is quite different from other Wushu practicers.In a sense, knight-errant is just a colony with distinguished spirit-oriented characteristics, the chivalrous behavior and spirit are often imitated and studied by Wushu practicers. Here I attempt to refine out Chinese knight-errant's unique behaviors and temperamemtal characteristics based on the analysis to knight-errant and its spirit, then labor and take serious thinking to the complicated personalities formed under the influence of unorthodox culture of the Wushu practicers, and some exploratory work have been brought to discuss the meaning of knight-errant and its spirit in the contemporary society.In the article, I take Professor Fei Xiaotong's cultural level as the theoretical foundation to study"Chinese Knight-errant and Wushu",namely: The implemental level-Wushu's technology (acrobatic skill); Organizational level- regards personal value judgement as the code of conduct; Spiritual level- idea of loyalty, fealty , humanity , bravery , wisdon, faith, austerity. Based on this, two clues have been established to carry on the discussion: Open clue--The entity of knight-errant is the contradiction combination of the hero and devil, and the spirit of knight-errant has appeared in two-side influence: The positive influence is emphasized, praised and imitated by people whereas the negative influence is not admitted by orthodox culture but it is an irrefutable fact that it does exist all the time among people. Hidden clue–the core difference of the moral concept of knight-errant and Confucianism lies in the establishment of behavior judgement standard.
