"Cooperative learning" in this thesis especially assigns "Group cooperative learning" in class.Cooperative learning is instructional theory and strategy adopted by a lot of countries in the world. Cooperative learning is based on interaction in classroom, emphasizing on development of human resources, starting a new angle of view for instructional theory research.Knowledge management is a new way for business management, which differs from organizational management. This thesis tries to apply the concept of knowledge management to the classroom management, in the hope that the term cooperative learning can receive the high efficiency.The thesis traces back and comment on the present study of "cooperative learning" in our primary schools. Then it points out the existed problem and analyzes the causes. Furthermore, the writer of the thesis has had some theoretical meditation on cooperative English learning is primary schools under the concept of knowledge management. Still, the writer has borrowed theory of cooperative learning, experience and method acquired from New Zealand and made an experimental study or cooperative English learning in primary schools.The result indicates: "cooperative learning" is beneficial in promoting the interest of learning English, academic results and self-ability of primary school students; it also benefits teachers and students in their grouped teaching and studying.The thesis also outlooks and discusses how to improve "cooperative learning".
