Research On The Construction Of "Duan Wei System" Education Mode In College Wushu Course

Through the sections of Literature, Research and Experiments, this thesis proposes a conception and tentative plan on the construction of "Duan Wei System" Education Mode in college Wushu course, as both an explorative practice on 'The National Guidance Program for Ordinary Tertiary College on Physical Education", and a comprehensive resolution to some existing problems in traditional education mode of college Wushu course, such as inflexibility of the course design, outdated content of the text book, single-pattern of the teaching methods, etc.. Sharing the Grading concept from "Chinese Wushu Duan Wei (Grading) System", the thesis intents to set up a new Step-by-Step education mode in college Wushu course suitable to college Wushu education, which has special contents in text book and category framework. Such framework divides Wushu course into five categories and ten subsidies, which develops college Wushu course into a multi-categorized and multi-layered format and content with multiple Wushu feast's types. It emphasizes on some new concepts, such as "Morals Orientation", "Combination of Learn & Practice" and "Grading throughout the Education". Especially the focus on the "Learner's Demands Orientated" content and format effectively enlarged the functions of Wushu Education. Meanwhile, the research shows the increasing shortcomings in current college Wushu Education, with the continuous development of college P.E. construction and improvement on hardware conditions. Therefore, various parties such as professors & experts, teachers, students and related management teams agree that college Wushu education needs a reform urgently. New vitality is expected to be brought in by a new mode of education. The experiment on such new mode is proved to successfully fit learner's interests, arouse their learning desires, widen their knowledge, reflect learner orientation and fully take advantage of teacher's professional skills and leading roles in the education. This does not only help to improve student's own Wushu skills and effectively propel their comprehensive capabilities' development, but also satisfy the self-appraisal and self-accreditation demands of contemporary college students. Obtaining the public's acceptance and acknowledgement on the students' Wushu skills and knowledge, strengthening traditional nation's cultures and spirits, it also helps the students equipped with a solid basis for future lifelong exercises. Therefore, "Duan Wei System" education mode is proved to be worth taking on and spreading in college Wushu course.
