A Case Study Of Enlarging Enrollment Of University And The Influencing Caused By It

We know the universities in our country have been enlarging enrollment for six years .How can make our country' s higher education develop healthily and stably in mis situation is the research target of this dissertation.A regular college and a junior college are chosen as research samples in the present research, applying a synthetic research method of documentation and case study, and from the point of teachers' ideas and behaviors to analyze the current situations of university and the enlargement of university's enrollment.Related researches show that these two colleges have made more and more high school students get the chance to receive the higher education ,improve local people's whole quality ,make the education meet social needs of the qualified person ,It make our country's modern construction better and faster. But it has several disadvantages. The requirements of running school declined, students' quality dropped, shortage of teacher is very serious, teaching quality decreased, the style of school spirit and study were very poor, high tuition, underemployment of graduate all of these seriously obstruct the college's development.In order to further into there questions, author analyzes enlargement of the college's enrollment and the influencing of it and the situation of these two colleges, puts forth suggestions for developing it healthily, i.e. the enlargement of college's enrollment should have certain limit, the Ministry of Education should strengthen macro-regulation, decreased tuition, increase the rate of students subsidies and scholarship, improve the headmaster' administration level, strengthen the administrators' s ability, adopt different methods raise funds, improve the condition of running school .build a high quality teaching body which can meet the college's qualification ,change original teaching and studying method .change teaching and studying evaluation system .In accordance with employment ,We should spur on the employment by the practice, enlarge the employment by connection .ensure employment by cooperation .change specialty , build the new employment system to help the students find job .In the style of study and school spirit,we should pay attention to the garden, classroom, dining room and dormitory these four critical fields. We should have the same idea , strengthen the leadership ,master more knowledge, change the style of work .rectify the teaching style .check and evaluation should be on the alert .amplify necessary rules and regulations ,govern a college according to law, train qualified men for profession. If we use these six principals we can improve our style of school spirit and study.
