Chinese swordsman movie is an exotic flower of world movies. Wushu is the origin of the progress of swordsman movie.Through the methods of literature, interview, observation and logical analysis, this thesis attempts to examine Chinese swordsman movie from the viewpoint of Wushu, discuss the appearance and development of Chinese swordsman movie and analyze the influence of Chinese Wushu skills and Wushu culture on Chinese swordsman movie and analyze the promotion and side effect of swordsman movie on the development of Chinese Wushu. Through a deep study of the relation between them and seeking the origin of the interaction of Wushu and swordsman movie, this article holds that Chinese Wushu is the core of swordsman movie. Chinese swordsman movie can't exist without Chinese Wushu; without Chinese Wushu, Chinese swordsman movie will lose its unique charm.Through a multi-level and multi-angle study of the interaction of Chinese Wushu and Chinese swordsman movie, this article thinks that Chinese swordsman movie consists of Wu and Xia, which form two important pillars of swordsman movie. This thesis also assumes that Wushu, in skill and culture, has an overall influence on swordsman movie. Wushu skills provide the technical elements of Wu and Wushu culture the spiritual elements.
