The new course reform pours great energy into the Chinese language teaching in China. Italso updates the present Chinese language class, which arouse our further thought: How canwe innovate the Chinese language homework, which functions as the extent and supplementof Chinese language teaching.The present Chinese language practices fail to inspire the students' creativity and restraintheir full-development, which go far against the "be open and energetic" requirement in thenew course reform. Thus we should spare no time to reform the Chinese homework.With the general acceptance of the quality education and the popularization of the statecourse reform in China, we should break the traditional homework limits, improve andoptimize the homework design and its evaluations systems.In this thesis, I discuss the Chinese language homework reform in the following threeaspects: the update of Chinese language homework principle;the diversity of Chineselanguage homework design;the humanism and plurality of Chinese language homeworkevaluation.First of all, I point out that teachers should update Chinese language homework principle.New course homework is no longer the attachment to the teaching practices but thereconstruction and advancement of the teaching content. We should do away with thetraditional thoughts completely and attach importance to the students' individual developmentand Chinese language quality.Secondly, I summarize the diversity of Chinese language homework design into thefollowing five kinds: self-determination homework;accumulation homework;compositionhomework;research homework and investigation homework.In the end, I put forth the humanism and plurality of Chinese language homeworkevaluation. In modern period, teachers should apply the proper evaluation means appropriateto the homework forms and students' needs. Only in this way can we bring a perfect andscientific homework evaluation system into our Chinese language teaching.I hope that this thesis can make the educators realize the necessity and importance oforganizing an open and energetic classroom atmosphere and constructing plural, interestingand humane homework systems in present Chinese language education.
