With the deepening of the educational reform, the junior middle schools are keen to pursue to high rare of entering ordinary senior middle schools so as to the poor foundation of the vocational school students. It's a general tendency that the quality of the vocational school students are getting lower and lower.Teaching is the main channel of school education, so the urgent tasks of the vocational school math teachers are to make full use of the class, improve teaching method and math's learning situation increasingly, promote students' efficiency study and help students make good preparation for their future job. As a math teacher, we have the responsibility to probe the proper way to solve their problems in math learning with the guiding of the modern math theory, curriculum theory, teaching theory and study theory. This thesis made a fundamental theoretical and experimental research on how to cultivate efficiency study of students under the direction of fostering their ability of lifelong study.This thesis researches the main factors influencing vocational school students' efficiency study on math. After an investigation by a questionnaire, the author found that the original knowledge and skills, study motivation and learning strategies are the main factors. The author also got the results as following: the original knowledge and skills is the direct reason for students' efficiency study; Study motivation is the most important reason; efficient study strategies are the key to their efficiency study. Based on the theory and combined teaching experiences the thesis proposed some strategies for efficiency study: preparation strategy, including plan-making strategy, psychological preparation strategy, pre-review preparation. Class study strategy, including descriptive knowledge learning strategy; procedural knowledge learning strategy, class listening strategy; Consolidation strategy, including reviewing strategy, application and reflection strategy, meta-cognition monitor strategy. Based on the mathematic teaching theory and analysis of the teaching procedures, the author proposed the proper teaching strategies to vocational math classes: (1) Creating question situation, inspiring students' interests.
