Quality-education is to develop subject orientation and establish the mainstay status of subject in social life. This has become a subject of our era. Subject participation is a critical way to develop students'subject orientation, and is also a critical issue concerned by domestic and foreign education reformation. This article will look into this problem by combination of thoery and practice based on the current situation of Chinese language teaching .Subject participation is a new Chinese language teaching concept that has been put forward in view of the situations that teachers are the main body of classes and students are neglected. It is the application of subject education concept in teaching. It embodies subject orientation, practicabiliy, mutual response, openness of teaching modes in the course of teaching.Subject participation in Chinese teaching conforms not only to the trend of Chinese and Western education, and also to education psychology. Constructionism thoery claims on that the students are the subject of information processing, and the active builders of meanings.Subject orientation education thoery states that education is an activity that cultivates and develops individualism. Humanism psychology claims that the students are the mainstay in learning activities, and their willingness, emotions, needs and values must be emphasized. Post-modern curriculum is also against knowledge monopoly, and puts stress on students'unique understanding, explanation and questioning of knowledge. The above mentioned theories have in common that students'subject orientation is stressed. They are the theory cornerstone of studying and implementing subject participation method.
