The New Curriculum Reform provides a new platform andfulcrum for the teaching reform. If we expect the curriculum reform tobring us an essential and all-sided result, we need to reform the classteaching. The New Curriculum Reform aims to train the students'science literature. How to turn the new ideas of the New CurriculumReform and the modern curriculum standard into teachers' teaching?In my point of view, as a chemistry teacher, the most important andessential thing is to make sure the teaching and learning design iseffective. The following essay is based on the modern learning theory,teaching and learning theory, system theory and the writer's more thanten years' teaching experiences. It analyses the six major ideas ofmiddle school chemistry curriculum and three major viewpoints ofoptional teaching. It puts forward a theory project of middle schoolchemistry teaching and learning design in the new curriculum. Classteaching should be designed according to the new chemistrycurriculum, the students' level and the curriculum resource system.The writer also did a general research on selecting the class teachingcontent, designing learning activities and selecting the ways ofteaching and learning evaluation. Based on the theory project of modern teaching and learningdesign and the teaching experiences, the writer selected three newcomplete teaching examples to analyze the process of modern teachingand learning design. Firstly, the writer showed the teaching exampleof The Three-form Transformation of Water to discuss the teachingand learning design methods which are based on the formation of thebasic concept of chemistry. Secondly, the writer showed the teachingexample of The Chemistry Character of Metal to introduce the generalthought of teaching and learning design of scientific research. Thirdly,the writer showed the teaching example of Chemistry and Health toanalyze the teaching and learning design which is based on the STSeducation and put the new curriculum theory into teaching practice.Through research and practice on the new curriculum theory andthe new chemistry teaching material (Shandong Education Press), thewriter felt that the teachers' educational specialization should beimproved. The level of teachers' teaching and learning design, to someextent, reflects the level of teachers' educational specialization. Sothe new ideas and new curriculum put forward new challenges forteachers. The teachers must improve their educational specializationin order to meet the needs of the students, the parents and the society.By studying the article, the writer intends to promote thereform for the chemical teaching in the middle schools in orderto provide a positive and meaningful thinking so that genuinelyputting the ideas and demands of new courses into teachers'teaching practices.
