Some schools in the current school-based teaching and research are stuck in a preaching and form, no teachers teaching into action. The main reason is that it is divorced from the practical work of the teachers and it's not able to solve the problems which the teachers encountered. Therefore the teachers could not promote their own development; they found themselves teaching and researching only, without any practical significance.The school-based teaching and research on the new curriculum is a kind of research which putting the foothold in school teaching, solving the new problems in the new curriculum reform. Teachers are the principal part in the research. The main target of the research is to promote student health, initiative, the full development and professional growth of teachers. Meanwhile, it is still an important issue that how effective the school-based teaching and research work.The author, as a member of the teaching and research staff, has rich experience. And this article is based on the reality of the primary and secondary school-based teaching and research in Lo Wu District, Shenzhen. At first it will reveal the problems which existing in the school-based teaching and research. Then we will discuss the solution, which is based on the research results, to the teaching and research problems in the context of the new curriculum.The main content of this article is divided into three parts.The first part based on relevant concept will give you in-depth explanations on the definition, character and significance of the school-based teaching and research.The second part of the school-based teaching and research represents the major problems: formalism, narrowed study, empiricism, the separation of research and teaching and so on. Further, this part will analyze the deep reason of the problems of school-based teaching and research.The third part will give the solution to the major problems in school-based research: the creation of an incentive mechanism, full exertion of teachers' principal part; a learning type of teaching and research structure, creating learning and creative type of teachers' groups; Innovative school-based model of teaching and research activities to improve the quality of the school-based teaching and research; Improvement of the school-based teaching and research evaluation system, and promotion of the professional growth of teachers; building school culture conducive to the school-based teaching and research, motivation of teachers to participate in the school-based teaching and research.
