Words are one of the main points in English learning for Middle School. The certain amount of vocabulary directly influences the development of various language skills. The use of learning strategies is the key factor of students' achievements. The students who always get high marks in English tend to use more learning strategies than those who always get low marks. This means that the teacher should not only instruct knowledge but also pay more attention on the training of learning strategies.This paper consists of three parts: The first part is the statement of theory;the second part is the investigation and analysis on motivation, beliefs and strategies of junior English learners;the third part is the teaching practice which aims to make the students understand that learning strategies is the "short cut" to learn English better, and the master of learning strategies can better improve the efficiency of English learning, and also strengthen the capability of the use of English.
