The curriculum reforms finally can carry out to the teaching material's reform. Because the teaching material is the carrier of curriculum, is the important resource of the achievement of the curriculum goal and the teaching implementation. The reformation of our country's carrying on the elementary education curriculum has developed many new teaching materials. The implementation of the new teaching material, how actually its quality, how its result, whether it has reflected the new curriculum standard well? It needs not only the curriculum researcher's theoretical analysis, but also the feedback information after the general teachers and students who provides, to confirm actually. The teaching material of the people's education press once was the national unification edition. What is its advantage? Or what's its disadvantage? Under the policy of many kinds of teaching materials in an outline, whether it has still displayed national sports team's role, whether it has truly manifested the idea, the goal and the guiding ideology of this new curriculum reform, whether it is more advantageous to general teachers' teaching and to the students' study? This research is to the explorations of these questions.The present paper follows to take the fundamental research primarily, the real diagnosis research as the auxiliary mentality. It has used literature retrieval way specifically, scientific theory or principle methodology, text analytic method and investigation methodology. It analyzes the "successes" or "failures" of the version of the 13th to the 16th volume of the mathematics experimental books of the people's education press, and according to the above puts forward to the suitable proposals.The full text altogether divides three parts. The first part is an introduction. It includes putting forward to the question and its researchsignificance, its correlation research and its literature summary, as well as its research method, its research basic way and its research process. The second part mainly aims at analysis of the success of the 13th volume to the 16th volume of the people's education press. Namely it carries on the contrast analysis between the curriculum idea and the curriculum goal, with the curriculum content and the teaching way of the new and the old teaching materials. The third part mainly is the overall appraisal of the version of the 13th volume to the 16th volume of the people's education press, points out its deficiency, and puts forward to some improving proposals.
