This study collects materials mainly through questionnaire survey. Based on the relevant theories of sociology (socialization) and social psychology (social cognition), it aims to examine the characteristics of Chinese public's trust view, and to explore the differences of trust view among different groups. The first part includes the study background, the literature review, the conceptualization and the operation of concept. In addition, the framework, the hypothesis, and the research method of this study are also mentioned. The second part examines the characteristics of Chinese public's trust view. How Chinese public judges the situation of social honesty, chooses the norm of honesty and trust, and chooses the trustiest individuals are described and analyzed in this part. Furthermore, based on the conclusions, some considerations are mentioned. The third part examines the differences of different groups judging the situation of social honesty. How the groups of different sex, different age, different education attainment and different living communities judge the situation of social honesty are described and analyzed in this part; furthermore, we use logistic regression method to examine the factors of different groups judging the situation of social honesty; some considerations are mentioned The fourth part examines the differences of different groups choosing the norm of honesty and trust. Some considerations on trust situation in Chinese society are provided. As well, the limitation, the new ideas and some points about further research of the study are included in this part.
