Behind technology curriculum standards for high schools in both China and U.S., this article analyses the texts and establishment of technology curriculum standards, and gives a summary of characteristic of technology curriculum standards for high schools in this two countries, and discusses effect of technology curriculum standards for implement of technology curriculum, and common principles for establishment of technology curriculum standards. Technology curriculum standards of U.S. are formed by three main texts: Technology for All Americans: A Rationale and Structure for the Study of Technology (1996);Standards for Technological Literacy: Content for the study of technology (2000);Advancing Excellence in Technological literacy: Student Assessment, Professional Development, and Program Standards (2003 ). This article sums up seven characteristics of technology curriculum standards for high schools in US.By analyzing progress of technology curriculum in common high schools and establishment process of Technology Curriculum Standards in common schools, this article sums up practical foundation of implement of technology curriculum in common high schools in our country. And this article summarizes eight main characteristics of technology curriculum standards for high schools in our country. And combining with practices of technology curriculum, this article discusses some problems for this standard.Finally, this article compares technology curriculum standards in our country with US, and it brings forwards some opinions and advices for improving technology curriculum standards in our country.
