A Study On Tao Xingzhi's Country Educational Thoughts

Last the half 20^th century , China was faced with the domestic unrest and foreigninvasion in turmoil, especially in agricultural production , life and education., and in itscondition the education activity of Chinese rural occurred. Regardless of theory or practice,Tao xingzhi was the most influenced person and made the big achievement beyond doubt inthat activity. Tao xingzhi deeply disclosed much disadvantage in the education activity ofChinese rural, held for the students to study and master knowledge and capability whichpromoted agricultural development and construction, and culture the citizens who couldremould rural life, in their activities. The article analyses Tao xingzhi's ruraleducational ideas according to the social and educational background of hisideas , his rural educational practices, his criticism to traditionaleducation , his knowledge to the importance and function of the rural education ,the goal of the rural education, the content and method of the rural education,the relationship between teacher and student of the rural education, hisanalysis to normal school education and his influence to the rural educationalideas etc.
