| United States is one of the counties which implement bilingual education earliest. During 400 years, bilingual education in America has already formed its own characteristic. Through analyzing American bilingual education, can provide experience for minority bilingual education in our country. This thesis has mainly discussed American bilingual education from four parts: The first part elaborates the process of American bilingual education, and analyzes the factors which affect the development of American bilingual education. The second part is the main body of this thesis .This part expatiates present situation of American bilingual education, from object, goal, condition, way, effect of bilingual education implementation. The third part elaborates the characteristic, the significance and the problem of American bilingual education. Finally, according to the experience of American bilingual education, the last part provides some advisement to the minority bilingual education in our country. |
