A Study On Universities' Fund-Raising Affecting Elements And Solutions

The higher education of China developed at a fast speed since our open andreform policy started in 1978, and the financial support from government was themain channel to maintain this development. But, the dependency on governmentinvest has limited the fast growth of universities. Therefore, universities must workhard to gain more financial support from other resources by themselves.Faced with the reality of financial shortage, this study analysis the history ofChinese universities' fund raising. It was carried out in order to find out the intensiveelements which affect universities' fund raising. And then how to make these elementsdo good to it.This study composed by four parts: In part one, through the explanation to thebackground of this study, the author will show you the purpose and the necessary of it.In part two, analysis the history of fund raising of Chinese universities. In part three,the author will try to find the elements that affect universities' fund raising. And in thelast part, the suggestions on broaden the financial support was given in our marketeconomy society.After the analysis above, the author drew a conclusion. The key problem of theuniversity fund raising is to develop the institutions and systems of the highereducation capital running, to make it more normative and orderly.
