Principals' managerial conduct is an inevitable conduct of principals under theschool managerial circumstance. This conduct is still at the inchoative stage both in theory and practice. This paper tries to study principals' managerial conduct from new system economics, probing into the status quo of the principals' managerial conduct of a private education bloc from external circumstance and internal psychology. The writer discusses the concept of the conduct with principals, and advances the concrete types and the dynamic classified structure of the conduct at the general aspect.Based on property rights theory, transaction cost theory and social system theory, the paper puts forth a humanity hypothesis that principals are "limited, rational, realistic persons", which is the basic logical starling point of the research. The paper relocates the managerial roles of principals of the private education bloc under special circumstances, and raises three bases of the managerial role and the task of the three roles as school managers. In addition, the paper discusses two key questions mainly from two aspects: on the one hand, it advances that the essence of the principals' managerial conduct is the cultural construction of their executive forces which includes three concrete meanings, namely, principals' practical concept of strategic policy, the rationality of the system, the continuous implementation and the influence of the principals on the behavior of the faculty by doing the individual experiencing research in a private education bloc and discussing the essence of principals' managerial conduct with the principals;on the other hand, the paper also raises the concrete types and the dynamic classified structure of principals' managerial conduct at the general aspect which includes five concrete types, namely, principals' informative conduct, principals' financial conduct, principals' humanistic conduct, principals' communicative conduct and principals' developing conduct. Then the paper analyzes and illustrates the concrete contents of them, on the basis of which lies a macro-dynamic structure of managerial conduct for the principals of private education bloc is established.
