On The Formation Of Discipline Development Plan In Universities

The university takes organizational system of discipline as essential feature. Both the scientific research and the personnel training in universities carry on by discipline classification,as well as the organization and management. Discipline is a cell of the university. Without discipline ,there would be no existence of university. Only getting support from discipline may the reform of the university succeed. Equally,without abundant development of discipline,there would be no the fast progress of university; Without high-level discipline,there would be no high-level university. But high-level discipline is not formed naturally,it is the result of university planning scientifically and long-time effective construction. So,according to the needs of inherent logic of discipline development and social development,taking correct discipline development view as the direction,forming a foresight discipline development plan which suits the reality of university development is the inevitable requirements of discipline and university sustainable development. Using such multi-disciplinary relevant theories as management,psychology,high pedagogy,systematic science,ecology,organizational behaviouristics,etc.,adopting such methods as the document law, historical law, investigation method, the comparative law,etc.,this paper studies some problems as follows: the discipline development plan and its characteristic, the formation basis, the chief value orientation,the formulation subject,the important document and the formation procedure of the discipline development plan,etc.
