Using The Student Attitude Scale for Studying Burden (SASSB), Raven Standard Reasoning Test and CPI, the study tested 829 senior high school students and explored the influence of the students' intelligence levels and personality types on their attitude to studying burden. The results were as follows:1.Students' attitude to studying burden didn't correlate with their intelligence levels significantly, students with different intelligence levels showed no significant difference in their test scores from all the factors of three dimensions of SASSB, that is, cognitive, the emotional experience and the behavioral dimension.2.Students' attitude to studying burden correlated with personality significantly, students with different personality types showed remarkable difference in their test scores of three dimensions as well as most factors of SASSB, positive personality type helped to the forming of positive attitude to studying burden, whereas negative personality helped to the forming of negative attitude.Based on the results above, the study brought up three suggestions to relieve the students' heavy studying burden: firstly, to relieve the students' heavy studying burden in terms of psychology and focus on developing the students' positive personality; secondly, to teach students in accordance of their different personality types; third, to practice frustration education with a view to improve the students' psychological endurance.
