Study On The Rights And Interests Protection Of City's Marginal Groups

In China, with the fast development of marketization urbanization and modernization, quite a few peasants are going out of the land, which they depended on for generations, to expend the new space of their development in cities and towns, and to realize the occupation conversion of their owns. However, these peasants entering into cities to engage in new jobs find it very difficulty to change their rejected (by current regulations), both workers and peasants', marginal and vulnerable groups characteristics. Unfortunately, this kind of marginal characteristic has directly or indirectly caused the situation that their legitimate rights and interests are encroached on seriously, such as, the opportunity of employment, treatment of salary, working conditions and social welfare, etc. The fact that peasants' rights and interests are protected or be wantonly encroached is directly concern the future and destiny of more than one hundred million peasant workers in China. Moreover, the study on the rights and interests safeguard of peasant workers' is also involved into a series of social phenomena and social problems, just as, relation in urban and rural areas, relation between workers and peasants, social equality, social flow, social employment and social security. Because of the above analysis, basing on the deep sentiment as a child of peasant family and the strong consciousness of fair, the author attempt to remedy and pour out her heart perceptually with rational thinking; attempt to comprehensive those relevant theories and knowledge of sociology, law and psychology; attempt to analyze its subjective and objective reasons of the back, seeing through this severe reality and linking some degrees from government, society, enterprises and peasant workers; and attempt to propose some feasible countermeasures or suggestions, combining with the reality of our country.
