The main contents of this research fall into four parts: first, analyzing choice of "problem" and it's basic characteristics in information technology course of high school; second, probing into problem solving instructional design of information technology course; third, developing teaching case by applying choice of "problem" model and problem solving instructional design exemplified by special picture processing, information obtaining and unit issuance; fourth, analyzing the influence of problem solving teaching on students' achievements, problem solving abilities and attitudes. In this research, the quasi-experiment research method called "non-equivalent control group posttest-only design" is adapted. By analyzing material through independent sample T test, differences of two groups of high school students' unit achievement, problem solving ability and attitude are discussed.Viewpoints of this paper and main work as following:1. Three-dimensional model of content-result-problem is put forward by which types of problems can be confirmed and verified. This paper also illustrates several kinds of sub problems that frequently appear in information technology teaching: logic problem, rule-using problem, trouble-shooting problem, design problem and dilemma problem.2. Problem solving instructional design in information technology course can be divided into well-structured problem solving and ill-structured problem solving. The former use problem representation, technology and method selection, plan formation and plan execution as its main teaching steps. The latter embraces technology problem solving and information problem solving. Concrete steps of technology problem solving are to enter...
