Discussion On Crucial Factors Of Successful Start-up About Modernization From Without

Modernization is a trend in today's world. Scholars are paying more and more attention to the start-up about modernization from without. In academe, traditional researches on modernization from without hold the opinion that outer factors are crucial in the start-up of modernization. This kind of opinion doesn't realize the essence and neglects the role of the inner factors in the course of modernization from without. Inner factors are the crucial ones in the successful start-up about modernization from without. We will discuss this topic from three aspects: economic conditions, system pursuit and spirit power. By this way, we hope we can give some instructive suggestions to this kind of country.This thesis is divided into three major parts. In the first one, the four important concepts: modernization, modernization from without, start-up of modernization, crucial factors of modernization's start-up will be defined in detail. Then we will analyze the theory about modernization from without. And we explain the academic value of this thesis.The second part is the main body of the thesis. In this part, we regard three factors as the crucial one in the successful start-up of modernization from without. They are economic conditions, system pursuit and spirit power. In economic conditions, they refer to the three: the level of commodity economy, the appeal of colony economy and the fortune accumulation. In system pursuit, it refers to the gaining of dominion, political transformations, economy system transformations, and educational transformations. In spirit power it refers to the people'desire for national dominion and the impelling of modernization tide.The third part is about the thesis's conclusion and revelation. At last we draw a conclusion that the inner and outer factors have different functions in the start-up of modernization from without. We think that the three inner factors are crucial. They are economic conditions, system pursuit and spirit power. Meanwhile we emphasize that outer factors also play important role in this course.
