The reading teaching is an important composition part of Chinese teaching. In various kinds of Chinese teaching activities, it possesses an especially important position. As to the basic task of Chinese teaching, the raising of student's speaking and writing abilities is base on reading and the raising of listening comprehension ability will be promoted by reading; Generally, from the point of practical activity of Chinese teaching, reading is often adopted as the main shaft to compile the Chinese teaching material , and the teaching activity revolves around reading, and also reading is main activity of student study . Therefore, reading is the foothold point in entire Chinese teaching activities, and to read, scientifically and efficiently, is crucial to the entire Chinese teaching. So we can say, no matter from theoretical angle or in actual teaching, people have recognized and implemented thoroughly the importance of reading teaching. Teachers and students spend so much time and energy, nearly all Chinese lessons, on learning reading. However student is depressed and tasteless for reading teaching, their reading ability do not still improve quickly, this phenomenon must make us think deeply. Certainly, reasons are various. For instance, some criticize the reading material which lacks the interesting and valuable contents, and advocate the act of putting aside textbook bravely, walking out of classroom, regarding reading room and library as classroom, and attach great importance on reading books instead of textbooks, and reading after class instead of teaching in lesson. Others hold that weak ability of reading should be attributed to examination, and that the high school and university entrance examinations have tied teacher and student, advocating that exam-oriented education should give way to quality-oriented education.In my opinion, the above-mentioned reasons consider more external factors that affect reading. If we want to change the present situation thoroughly, and to explore the way of reading teaching scientifically and efficiently, we must think over the essence of the reading teaching, which until now has been overlooked by the most people of education field. This paper attempts to contrast reading with reading teaching, the two closely related concepts, to discuss the characteristic feature of reading teaching and to expound that we should aim at the form of spoken language of the works, and not merely through the form of it to understand the content of spoken language, but also by the grasp of the contents of spoken language to appreciate the subtle usage of the form of spoken language. After analyzing correlations among the author the reader( student ) and the works in teaching system, the paper elaborates that the reading teaching must regard works as the foothold, meanwhile, pays attention to the role and position of reader (students) and author in reading teaching activity.In a word, the fundamental role of reading teaching lies in promoting student to do"Chinese Reading",through which make student to read the works consciously and efficiently ,and then guiding them to perceive the works objectively and accurately, and to annotates innovate and alienate the works reasonably. |
