Since the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council announced " China's educational reform and development outline " in 1993, Ministry of Education begins to carry on the great reform to the management system of Chinese university to various kinds of drawbacks under the original high structure of education. It required that the adjustment of high reform of the management system of education and overall arrangement structure has been basically finished until about 2002, form the comprehensive university, many department universities and single department new pattern suitable in proportion of university. In a great deal of forms of the reform, it undoubtedly sets up many departments, comprehensive university to amalgamate, improve the best form of university's comprehensive strength rapidly. But maybe the formal amalgamation can not multiple the effects of " 1+1 > 2 " either. If we just do it formally, it is difficult to change state of " the Common Wealth of Independent States " fundamentally. So, we should consolidate and reform the achievement in the school on the basis of substantive integration, deepen and combine the reform of the college, advance the depth of amalgamating the university to merge. But what we want can not be accomplished in just one step. It needs complementary advantages of each other and the constant break-in in practice, we study the amalgamate depth of university by combining theory with real example in this text.Chapter one of this text has described the proposition of the question, the thinking and method of the content, meaning and research studied. Chapter two explained in detail that amalgamates the general principle of the university, relevant concepts and amalgamates the theory that the university needed to use to define in studying. And then analyses operation conditions and compare in front and at the back of amalgamating to university to go on thesis, summarize the achievement, find out the question. Chapter four we put forward the concrete tactics in solving the problem when merging. Chapter five I took Wu Han University of Technology as an example and analysed the integration state of this university.
