In the information ages, the high school chemistry instruction will face the impact and challenge of two main reformations: Informatization of elementary education and reformation of new chemistry course and instruction. Among this field, the integration of information technology into chemistry instruction is the common focus of those two reformations. Thus, a big problem confront researchers and teachers is how to grasp the principles and methods of the integration and convert them into chemistry instruction practices. From the view of chemistry informatization instruction design, this paper studies the theories, process and application of chemistry informatization instruction design based on the idea of completely integration of learning theories, chemistry instruction and information technology. This paper includes three parts totally, main contents of each part are as follows: The first part: Chemistry instruction of the Information Ages: Present Condition and Develop Trends. This part summarizes the general research situation in the related realms of domestic and international and include primarily: The general research situation of the integration of information technology into chemistry instruction and chemistry instruction design. In the end, the research problems of this paper are clearly defined. The second part: Research on the Theories and Process Mode of Chemistry Informatization Instruction Design. This is the core part of this paper. The first subordinate part "Concept and Characteristics of Chemistry Informatization Instruction Design"definitudes the Concept and characteristics of chemistry informatization instruction design. The second subordinate part "Design Chemistry Instruction in the IITCI( Integration of Information Technology into Chemistry Instruction) Frame"mainly studies the theories foundation of chemistry informatization instruction design. Firstly, a three-dimention frame of integration of information technology into chemistry instruction(IITCI frame) are presented, then the background of three relative realms of the integration namely learning theories,chemistry instruction and information technology are illustrated; finally two principles of chemistry informatization instruction design are expatiated; The third subordinate part "Process Mode of Chemistry Informatization Instruction Design"constructs a process mode of chemistry informatization instruction design and the main processes are expatiated. The third part: Research on the Application of Chemistry Informatization Instruction Design. This part mainly illustrates the application of chemistry informatization instruction design based on the classification of informatization instruction environments. Furthermore, two referrible examples of chemistry informatization instruction design are presented for researchers and teachers. Finally, the paper sums up the conclusion of the whole research, and some related problems which need further investigation also are put forward.
