Reading skill is taken for granted and naturally reading instruction has been neglected. This article is a rethinking of reading from the perception of psycholinguistics.In this paper an experimental study was conducted to investigate the impact on reading comprehension strategies and the degree to which interactive learning processes enhance students' learning of strategies. To improve students' reading comprehension, the Application of interactive model in the English classroom is a significant factor with regard to students' performance in their EFL reading comprehension test. The interaction model has three characters (Palincsar and Brown, 1986) . The first one is student center. The second one is real life reflection. And the third one is method variety. The reading techniques include pre-reading, during-reading, and after-reading phases.From the analysis of the data in the experiment, we had drawn the following conclusions:1) We might conclude that our experimental methodology could help EFL students improve their short story reading.2) It is reasonable to say that the instruction based on the Interactive Model of Reading seems to help students improve their expressive creativity in classroom.3) It could be concluded that social interaction in class room is very important: We also try to get some implications for reading teaching and learning...
