In Chinese textbooks for the middle school, the Lu Xun's works, such as novels, prose and other essay, is the most. It shows that Lu Xun occupies the highest position in literature, education and culture. And it also shows that the educators from generation to generation expect deeply that the young generation can understand Lu Xun and learn from him. Unfortunately, most of the students cannot understand Lu Xun and even dislike him. What's more, the Chinese teachers in the middle school who can understand and analyze Lu Xun's works well are few. Lu Xun's works is difficult to teach and to learn, so he is lonely and sorrow in the middle school campus. According to the research, many teachers handle the teaching of Lu Xun's works only from his or her personal point of view or personal understanding. Just few teachers can handle it from the reasonable perception or student perception, and investigate deeply about the relevant teaching problem, and then upgrade the theory of teaching. The lack of scientific affects the final teaching result. How to give Lu Xun's works a right position in the middle schools teaching? It's an urgent problem to be solved in the recent Chinese teaching reform, In order to more accurately understand and master the teaching-and-learning condition, the writer conducted a survey among the students from eight middle schools in Nanping lately. The result shows that students have certain understanding gap with Lu Xun's works they learned before, but quite a few students want to study his works further. Some of the students are dissatisfied with the teaching of Lu Xun's works. Most of the students think they themselves can read Lu Xun's works actively and emotionally. They can feel Lu Xun's works and get some creative thinking from the works. When they feel lonely and depressed. The investigation about the students' toward Lu Xun's works to provide some reference on the reform of middle school teaching idea and teaching materials.
