| Intelligent Computer-Assisted Instruction is one of the application modes in CAI. It is based on the artificial intelligence science, cognitive science and thought science. It centralizes the experience and wisdom of the teaching experts to the greatest degree. By means of computer, ICAI system imparts all kinds of knowledge and skills to the students aiming at the personalized teaching, thus greatly improving the teaching efficiency. Domain knowledge base, the brain to store knowledge in ICAI, is the basis of ICAI system. And its organizing form and storing method play an important role on its intelligence. The key technology to develop an efficient ICAI system is to construct an efficient domain knowledge base which often contains two main parts, one is the objective description of knowledge, the other is the lively representation of relationships between knowledge points. Relationships between knowledge points are the ligament to connect the knowledge points to an organized integrity. According to the deficiencies of current research in domain knowledge base, this paper classifies the knowledge in domain knowledge base on the basis of the book organization, brings forth a transferring computation method of relationships between knowledge points, which is based on the quantitative definition of relationships between knowledge points, and builds a quantitative representation mode of knowledge base. Meanwhile, this paper proposes the navigating strategy, testing strategy and diagnosing strategy, which can provide method and foundation for the development of ICAI system. |
