This thesis deals with the aims and significance of the research into the chemistry teaching plans based on constructivism under conditions of multimedia and internet. It gives full details of the origin of constructivism, theoretical points and theoretical basis for multimedia and Internet assisting chemistry teaching; summarize the present situations of using multimedia and Internet for teaching; points out the existing problems of using multimedia and internet for teaching. Information technology, for example, isn't really mixed with classroom activities. A number of CAI. simply concentrate on being direct and lively while the initiative of the students who ought to be. the subject is forgotten. They simply emphasis the teachers' work while the students' is ignored. All the teaching plans are designed for the teachers' teaching instead of the students' studying. Students have few chances to take part in the classroom activities and thus a new type of wrong way of teaching is formed. Nowadays the most fashionable "internet teaching model" is just a copy of textbooks and teaching plans .To solve all the problems and reallyunderstand the central points of constructivism.....Science and knowledgemust be constructed by the students themselves on their own initiative .We have done a comprehensive research on jianwenntiandi site based on constructivism and then done a lot of practice in chemistry teaching with the help of jianwentiandi site. During the practice, we have mainly probed into the teaching methods of Scaffolding Instructions, Anchored Instructions and Random Access Instructions. Through the practice, we have got to know that the idea of constructivism has incomparable advantages than any other idea in "heightening the initiative and developing the ability of the students. We have also realized that chemistry teaching based on constructivism under conditions of multimedia and Internet can really be done "with students as the subject". It can help train and bring up talented persons of high quality, who is to accept the challenge to the new century. Teaching methods based onconstructivism under the conditions of multimedia and internet can completely arouse a lot of sense organs of the students to study and fully stimulate the students' initiative and participation. They can help enlarge the capacity of a teaching period and really make the students study individually, study on their initiative and study with others. The teachers' and the students' using multimedia can show the entire effect of classroom activities and fully reflects the principal part of the students and the leading part of the teachers.
