Since the theory of hidden curriculum came into being, it has absorbed wide attentions from many educational scholars and theorists. On the base of considering the results of research existed, the author probed the hidden curriculum in the text of Junior English For China. [used as "JEFC" in brief below] by using the paper research and investigation research approaches.The active text of JEFC was edited in cooperation by china and British, mainly severing the students in junior middle school of China. Just because it was edited in cooperation and used only by one single side. It maybe involved many hidden contents which have many negative effects on the students in these junior middle school.In order to find out these hidden contents. weaken their negative effects and advance the research and construction of the text of JEFC in practice. On the base of introduction to the theory of hidden curriculum in brief, this essay pay the most attention to the third part. because this part is the deep place and center core of the paper.In this part. The author put forward and proved three points below: (1)the samples in hidden curriculum of the active text of JEFC and its positive effects (2) the negative effects. in the hidden curriculum of the active text of JEFC. (3)construct the hidden curriculum of active text of JEFC.After analysis. the author cognized and emphasized that: there are many hidden contents in the active text of JEFC. he also summed up the positive effects andprobed the negative effects. In conclusion, he gave some constructivism advice on how to construct and make the better of the hidden curriculum.
