The Integration Of The Information Technology And The Learning Style

From the challenge made by the IT to the people's quality and the basic curriculum and instruction reform, the author investigates the essential and value of the integration of the information technology and the learning style and analyzes the theory basis of this integration on the basic of the data summarization. Connecting with the cases, the author studies the basic and detailed strategies of this integration. The paper consists of five parts:Part I Preface: IT asks for the integration of the information technology and the learning style.This part analyzes the basic characteristics of IT, people's information quality and the requirements given by IT. On the basis of the data summarization, the author considers that facing IT, the integration is the important problem, which should be discussed in the basic education reform.Part II The essential of the integration of the information technology and the learning style.This part discusses the essential of the integration of the information technology and the learning style from analyzing the concepts of the information technology and the learning style. It regards that IT is not only the category reflecting the "tools" or the "instruments", but also the category reflecting the "activities". Essentially speaking, the learning style is the thinking way, existing way and living way during the teaching process between teachers and students. The essential of the integration is to unify the information technology and the learningstyle, form the certain learning structure, and create the totally new processes of the teaching and the teaching environment. The author analyzes more about the natural characteristics of the integration.Part III The value of the integration of the information technology and the learning style.This part studies the value of the integration of the information technology and the learning style from two aspects. One is to promote the developments of students' information qualities; the other is to change the education idea and to speed the reform of the structure of the teaching activities.Part IV The learning idea and the concept of the media value of education technology on the surrounding of the information technology.From some point of views such as the constructivist learning idea, the idea of the relationship between teachers and students, the concept of knowledge, and the idea of the people of ability, this part discusses the theory basis of the integration of the information technology and the learning style.Part V The strategy of the integration of the information technology and the learning style.This part studies the basic and detailed strategies of the integration of the information technology and the learning style. Connecting with the practice of the teaching reform, the author discusses the detail strategies about the integration of the different learning styles for instance: the information technology and the active learning, the cooperative learning, and the investigating learning.
