Chinese traditional medicine radices puerarire is the drying radices of Pueraria lobata (willd) Ohwi or P.thomsonii Benth. It was used in many kinds of disease frequently. The mostly constituent of puerarire is radices puerarire total flavone. Puerarire could dilate animal vasa coronaria and brain blood vessel as well as ameliorate microcirculation, and depress blood pressure and blood sugar, avoid the thrombocyte collecting and improve functions of endothelial cells and protect cardiac muscle. Puerarire could postpone aging and enhance the memory of D-galactose caused mice. It could fight against cancer and speed up catabolism of medicament and poison. It is safe and avirulent.Nitric oxide (NO) is a particular hydrone having briefness structure. NO have wide effect: suiting well angiotasis and keeping blood pressure level off and maintaining integrality of blood vessel endothelial and preventing thrombocyte collection. But substantial NO could damage normal cells and tissue, as well as take part in tissue self-immunization, hi the process of production NO needs nitric oxide synthase (NOS). One of NOS is Constructive nitric oxide synthase (cNOS), and the other is inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS).30 SD male rats were divided into 3 groups randomly: quiet group (A), training group (B) and medicine training group (C). B and C do the exercises on the animal tuning-tester, C were fed with puerarire total flavone every day. After 7 weeks, fetch the heart, liver, kidney, brain and muscle of all rats. It turns out to be these conclusion: 1) to supply puerarire total flavone could rise the activity of monoamine oxidase. 2) to increase the content of NO in heart and liver. 3) to lower the activity of chief NOS in liver, brain and kidney. 4) to improve the activity of iNOS in heart, brain and kidney. 5) to raise the glycogen livel in liver and muscle.
