The Developing And Study Of University Employment Management Information System Based On C/S And B/S

Client/Server is the leader architecture of computer application system of now.Browser/Server is a new architecture evolved from the developing of Internet/Intranet technique.It is a three-tier C/S substantially.In order to fulfill the requirements of different types of users of our school,the author applied both C/S and B/S in the system developing.This paper first introduces the concepts,characteristics,and the influences on system developing of C/S and B/S,analyzes the feasibility and advantage of applying the two architectures in one system from the practice view.Then,based on the practice of system developing at the Beijing university,the paper studies the developing technique for the client side of C/S and the WWW server side of B/S.For the client side of C/S,the paper focuses on the application of object-oriented programming.For the WWW server side of B/S,the paper discusses the connecting technique between WWW server and DB server,and presents some instances implemented by ASP.
