The author of this essay attempts to raise questions in the Chinese classes at middle school to tlcilitate discussion. He then discusses the following 5 aspects: the concept and the purpose of raising questions; the basic theory behind raising questions; the different methods of questioning and he has given examples of different teaching methods; principle behind raising questions; and the education of the students' by using this method. He also discusses the theory and application of questioning within the classroom by examining different teaching methods and their level of effectiveness. This essay provides reference material for Chinese teachers in middle school to help improve the standard of education. Raising questions in class can illuminate the students thoughts improve their analyzing ability and facilitate problem solving. The education of students by raising questions can challenge and improve a student ability to analyze problem solved and "thinking " way cognitively.
