Pilot study of the inquiry curriculum Currently,howtocultivatethepupil's creativespiritandpractical ability has turned into a focus of the educational reform in our country0 Under the situation, a broad-range reform on the curriculum and teaching is springing up in every areas0 As a point of breakthrough in the reform, the city of Shanghai is attempting developing and implementing the inquiryourriculum, anddesigninganewcurriculumsystemof basic education, which is made of three types of curriculum, that is, the basic curriculum, the outstretched curriculum and the inquiry curriculum0 Up to now, some of research in the inquiry curriculum just begins, people areperplexedtowardsthefollowingquestions :what is inquirycurriculum on earth? what are the distinction between the inquiry curriculum and the disciplinecurriculum, theactivitycurriculum? What isthesignificance of developing the inquiry curriculum? How many types have the inquiry curriculum? How to develop and implement the inquiry curriculum effectively? How to evaluate the effect of implement the inquiry curriculum? If we are to deepen the current researches on the inquiry curriculum, which kind of questions must be given more attention and more exploration by people? In order to clarify some of fuzzy understanding on the inquiry curriculum, promote current researches on the subject further, supply some of helpful suggestions for people to develop and implement the inquiry curriculum, accordingly, make the researches turn into practical power, the thesis attempt to explore the above-mentioned questions from the perspective of theory and practice, combining the practice and the experiments of Shanghai.
