At present, China is building a socialist modernization, social modernization is the modernization of the key, while the core of modern man is a citizen of the modern transformation and reshaping of personality. Civil personality is a concrete manifestation of the modern personality. Contemporary personality molding of citizens of States in advancing the process of social modernization, attaches great importance to the issue. China's reform and opening up, civic character education with social problems, the rapid economic development and continuously emergent and increasingly taken seriously and train citizens in line with the actual personality of contemporary China has become the people's value to achieve the most pressing topic of the times .Although character education in our country to explore on a large number, but is still far from reality can not meet the requirements of the development, character education, the theory and practice of the building has not been universal attention by people, the modern civil personality value targets and training approach also still explored. China's current social and cultural transformation is accelerating, people's personality on the one hand starting from the traditional to modern, on the other hand there have been a number of crises. This is the background of the times from such a proceeding on contemporary civic issues related to character education research.This first chapter of the related concepts of personality to be defined, Analysis of Chinese and Western personality was to clarify the basic connotation of personality of citizens, in order to lay the theoretical basis for further elaboration. Chapter II, along the historical trajectory of China's Personality Education conducted a study and reflection of history in order to clearly show a character education in China's past, present, and move toward. Chapter III, the contemporary social and cultural changes in the background of the times, the analysis of China's generation of citizens the social basis of personality, as well as the current crisis, the existence and the formation of personality reasons. The fourth chapter in the above-mentioned study, based on theTry the Personality of our contemporary civic education in the value of content, dimensions, and dimensions, target positioning design. Chapter V, combined with China's reality, put forward the practice of education of our citizens personality concept.
