In recent years, the educational reform of the postgraduates is becoming the hottest issue in the practice of national educational reform. Nowadays, more and more universities in our country divide the degree into two categories, application type and academic type, and make a further claim that the reform should follow the line that application type applies to the postgraduates, and the academic type applies to the postgraduates and the doctors majoring in basic liberal arts and science subjects. The postgraduates'educational reforms emphasize on the macro-background of social and economic growth, and step by step, our nation implements the postgraduates'educational reform in trial on the campus of some universities since 2006.Considering the current situation of postgraduates'educational reform both overseas and domestic, the colleges affiliated to gansu province should have to positively respond to the calling locally and nationally based on the need of local construction and development, keep pace with the times, and reexamine the position and meaning of postgraduates'educational reforms to further the path of education reform for the postgraduates.Through the description and analysis of its cause for the situation of the postgraduates'education in the area of gansu province, it is found that the cultivate mode for college students is still the traditional academic type, and here comes the problems of lowly qualified candidates, unreasonably arranged curriculum, imperfectly formulated system of instruction and surveillance, the sole pattern for the inspection, and over-centered policy for the scholarships and academic degree. Considering all above, the local feature of the educational system is not demonstrated. Considering the current situation and overall aim of the college education in gansu province, this paper puts forwards the corresponding strategic measure in six aspects, including student candidates and the tutor selection, organization and pattern for the curriculum, pattern for the scientific instruction, management for the procedure inspection, for the scholarships and for the degree endowment.And at last, originating from the factors of conception, system, tutors, financial support, information from books, and academic atmosphere, this paper forms the system of the reformed education, combining the localization of candidates selection, application of curriculum arrangement, restriction of the scientific instruction, gradualness of the procedure tests, competitiveness of the financial support for the post graduates, and disciplinarity of the degree award. |
