In the past ten years, the higher vocational education of our country has developed rapidly, the society heightens to the acceptance of vocational education. The proportion that corresponding professorship university students account for in university student's colony increases day by day too. The professorship is grown special colony, as university students, have psychological characteristic different from the ordinary higher university student. The self-motive has very important influence on the individual's psychological activity, this kind of influence permeates in people's cognition, emotion, will and behavior. Stimulating consciously or unconsciously of self-motive, guide, maintaining all psychology about oneself and behavioral activity. Then the article thinks, The self-enhancement is in the self-motive one kind which widely takes, is stimulates by the self-value feeling and ability feeling, to maintain the individual sense of self-respect, causes the individual to aim at a more positive self-appraisal one kind of self-motive.Has the motive and the strategy division of.Passes through from the quality which arranges lives the self-enhancement questionnaire, the quality lives the self-enhancement and the self-respect relational research, the quality live based on "the relational scene" the self-enhancement and so on three research, the article draws the following conclusion:The conclusion one, the quality lives has the self-enhancement generally, but displays in various dimensions differently.In surpasses in the average dimension, self-service deviation, Impractical optimistic the difference is remarkable.The conclusion two, the self-respect type is different, can have the influence to the individual self-enhancement motive.The low self-respect motive self-enhancement and the high self-respect has the difference, but does not have the difference in the strategy self-enhancement Conclusion three, in different "relational scene" under, an experience adopts the different self-enhancement strategy.Under intimate relation and collective scene, when duty success, individual way which approves by the society, through enhancement intimate other people, achieved promotes the self-goal; When the duty is blocked or the defeat, the individual adopts disparages, the responsibility proliferation defends the self-respect.In individual scene, regardless of succeeds or not, the individual adopts the strategy approaches in the individual motive self-enhancement, also namely regardless of succeeds or not, the individual all favors for the enhancement self-respect, confirms self-takes the action.The conclusion four, the quality lives through enhancement intimate other people achieved strives to improve the self-esteem, this kind of enhancement behavior when appraisal correlation authority (teacher in charge), also exists.
