Study On The Reformation Of Chinese Men's Basketball Professional Tournament Competition System

Since basketball movement came out as a game entertainment, so far it has a more than 100 years'long history, with its unique charm and rich and generous people foundation it made a great success on professionalization in the world. CBA Professional League started its professionalization since the 1995—1996 season,and this season can be recognized as the most glorious milestone of Chinese basketball movement. Rules System development of CBA Professional League get through three stages:initially established, the search for perfection and deepen reform, changes in rules system is the survival and development engine of Chinese basketball movement, nowadays, CBA Professional League has 14 season's history, a series of reform of management system, rules system accelerated the process of league professionalization and the basketball movement development.Since CBA Professional League got into professionalization, rules system attracted most attention of basketball movement manage department and all clubs, it is one of the key issues. ZhangJinghai, one official of Chinese basketball movement manage department said that, all though our CBA has many years'development, it is not the real professional match, the key problem of CBA development is to find out the competitive, entertainment, and ornamental match point. Optimizing and improving rules system of CBA Professional League is a urgency problem, deepen analyses the effects of rules system brought to basketball movement development, and find out the shortage, propose reasonable and practical advices to out CBA rules system can be helpful to promote our basketball movement sustainable development.This study focuses on the development of rules system in CBA, Using sports economics,study,sports management,multi-disciplinary knowledge such as sport contest studying and operation and management of professional tournament in sports marketing,analyses deeply and systematically into the relationship between China's rules system and the performance in different periods, through methods of documentary, data statistics and some other research methods, Through the comparison between CBA rules system and the international rules system, finds the shortages. The study tries to provide effective theoretical support to the governing bodies and decision-makers of basketball movement, and thus promotes the healthy and steady development of CBA. From the comparison of 14 seasons'rules system on competition time, matches number, team number the geographical distribution, etc,find out that the rules system of CBA has 6 shortages under:(1) The competition period is short, and the matches are poor;(2)Team number is few, the clubs'geographical distribution is not reasonable ;(3)The rules system is lack of stability;(4) Talent succession system is not wholesome, the player mobile policy is not reasonable; (5)Cost much and market development is not perfect;(6)The competitive level is low.According to the features of the development of international basketball rules system and the needs of China's development of basketball movement, proposals for improvement are made as follows:(1)For economic development is domestic unbalanced, improve access system, reasonable to increase the team number and improve the market appeal.(2)Improve the Talent succession system, the players draft system, strengthen the players and balanced the team is to reduce intensity and enhance the gap and improve CBA sustainable development.(3)Increase the pre-season game number, arrangement more time for young players. Increase the matches, to promote the players'competitive ability.(4) Rules system is characterized by the administration, transforming government functions and reduce administrative intervention and strengthen service, to promote CBA commercial and professional development process.
