The Study Of Female Islam Education In Weizhou Area, Tongxin County Of Ningxia

The female islamic education emergs as a new form of islam education, she not only has a certain impact on Muslim society, but also has played an important role in transfering ethnic knowledge and maintaining diversity of ethnic culture.The study of the female islamic education involved in academic research is nearly three decades. This paper selects the female islamic education in Weizhou area,Tongxin County of Ningxia as a case study, on the one hand, it studies the origins,development and current situation of the female islamic education in weizhou area, and describes the various models of the female islamic education. On the other hand, it does a simple discussion about the impact of the female islamic education in local community and its development trend,so as to provide informations of rural female islamic education to scholars. The paper is composed by four parts.The first part is to collate and summarize the information of previous studies as a starting point,and to discuss the the concept of research, research methods and theories, and the basic information of the field work.The second part embarks from historical and present situation angles to describe the overview of Weizhoue area, background information and present development of female islamic education.The third part is based on my status of female, local people and the holder of islamic culture, to conduct a thorough investigation on different models of female islamic education in Weizhou area,and then has a deep discription of them.Fourth uses the case study method to discuss the impact of the female islamic education on Weizhou community, and also briefly dicuss the development trend of female islamic education in Weizhou.
