Based on the theory of performance appraisal and the modern human resource management, this paper aims at preliminarily exploring the indexed performance app raisal system of counselor in higher vocational colleges with my own workingexp erience. And the performance appraisal of counselor in higher vocational colleges is also to be discussed further.Firstly, the background information, the theory and the realistic significance of this paper will be introduced. Meanwhile, the performance appraisal of counselor in higher vocational colleges which carried by oversea scholars or experts will also be analyzed. And then the research methods and contents are to be stated subsequently.Secondly, It is supposed to present the characteristic of counselor in higher voc ational colleges by analyzing the existed problem of appraisal and investigating the current circumstances of counselor performance appraisal in higher vocational collegesThis paper, in particular, examines the purpose, principle and periodicity of per formance appraisal of counselor in higher vocational colleges by analytic hierachy process and constitutes an indexed appraisal system which rely on the previous research, taking KPI thought for guidence and making use of Delphi quantitative analysis to set up an indexed performance appraisal system which is closely related to the characteristic of counselor in higher vocational colleges.lastly, it is essential to present the specific implementation methods, feedback and the concerned problems.
