The Study Of The Present Situation And Countermeasures On The Masses Basketball Game In The Urban District Of Shijiazhuang　City

The 2008 Olympic Games were successful hold in Beijing, which was like a stimulant injected to the masses sports in our country and added the vigor to the development of the social sports. In the whole country, a movement of doing sports was set off. At present, the masses have a high spirit in attending sports activities. As is known to all, the"three balls"---basketball, volleyball, and football are very weak in China, the main reason being short of the reserve forces. As a result, the present choices to the sports items for the masses had an influence on the development of the competitive sports. Similarly, the development of the masses basketball game influenced the development of the competitive basketball game. Hebei is a large province around Beijing, where there is a long history of basketball culture and there are many excellent basketball players. In Shijiazhuang, the capital city of Hebei province, the development of the masses basketball game plays an important role in the provincial basketball game. Therefore, in this thesis I work on the study of the influential elements to the development of the masses basketball game in the Shijiazhuang urban district, in order to find the main reason for influencing the basketball game development, put forward countermeasures, and raise rationalization proposals for advancing the development and innovation of our provincial basketball game.Various study methods are adopted in this thesis, which refer to document-data method, expert-interview method, questionnaire method, mathematical statics method, and logic-analysis method. The target people are those basketball game participants who come from the enterprises and public institutions and from the open basketball courts in the Shijiazhuang urban district. During the study process, I investigated the development situation of the masses basketball game in the Shijiazhuang urban district, analyzed the factors effecting the development and raised the rationalization proposals. My study can produce many benefits as following: increase the quantity of the masses basketball game participants and advance their technique in the urban district, in order to develop the game in a larger area; advance the technique level of this game in the whole Shijiazhuang city to offer the guidance for other regions theoretically and play the role of good example; promote the competitive basketball game and school basketball game developing harmoniously with the purpose of lifting the level of the masses basketball game.The study results: 1. Most of the basketball game participants are male, among whom the students take the largest proportion. More than half of them are between 16 and 25 in age, and higher than high school level in education. 2. The games take place mostly in the basketball courts of the schools (colleges) and the parks with stable time. Differences are shown both in the organizing ways and playing techniques. The purposes for the participants are to increase sports abilities, to exercise and to entertain. 3. The expense for the basketball game is in a higher level. Most of the games are self-organized. These games organized by enterprises and public institutions have the purposes of body-building and entertainment, usually in a small scale. There are relatively fewer masses basketball games. 4. After the influential factors were analyzed, seven most important elements are clear for the participants who attend the basketball game in the Shijiazhuang urban district:⑴the weather-climate element.⑵the competitive basketball element.⑶the participant element.⑷the economic element.⑸the governmental administration element.⑹the basketball courts element.⑺the propagation element.These are the countermeasures to the main problems of the masses basketball game development in the Shijiazhuang urban district: 1. Continue to propagate the masses sports and strongly propagate the basketball game; 2. Organize the basketball teams in various forms and hold competitions; 3. Create suitable environment for basketball games; 4. Improve the organization and administration strategies of the government departments; 5. Develop the basketball game in schools (colleges), increase the reserve forces for the game; 6. Develop competitive basketball games with great effort; 7. Heighten the masses'awareness of participating the basketball game. The sports in our country are in an important period of innovation and development, and the masses basketball game a growing and improving stage. Therefore, according to the situation and influential elements in Shijiazhuang, I summaries the following suggestions to the problems such as the unsuitable administration in the masses basketball development. 1. Propagate the basketball game greatly. 2. Heighten the masses'awareness of participating the basketball game. 3. Increase the number of the open basketball courts,and dispose the equipments rationally. 4. Increase the number of the social instructors to improve the technique of the basketball game participants. 5. The government departments should organize more competitions especially the competitive basketball games with high level in order to improve the masses'acknowledgement about the basketball. 6. Increase the female basketball game participants by broad propagation.
