The information society asks information literacy of citizens for a further enhancement. As an compulsory course of ordinary high school, information technology in relations to the information literacy of the high school student, and to learn information technology well has vital significance to improve the national curriculum information literacy. But, current information technique teaching in senior high school still with traditional teaching mode which can't bring student's enthusiasm for study admirably, and it's not good for the improvement of students' information literacy. In September 2009, Hebei Province followed the national curriculum reform tide began to implement high school curriculum reform experiment throughout the province, and information technology curriculum reform was part of it. To reform education teaching methods and explore the information technology teaching form and methods which are suitable for the area has important practical significance.Since the greater discrepancy of the students who are in senior one in information technology, the study mainly applied layered teaching. Questionnaire had been taken toward students who just entered school in senior one in order to find out their base in information technology. The study is trying to find a method to teaching and learning which is suitable for local information technology teaching in senior high school and is good for the enhancement in information literacy of all students in teaching practice by combining Layered teaching, Modern teaching methods and the specific requirements of the new curriculum reform.This study analyzed a lot of layered teaching literature and expatiated on the basic logos and standard of information technology new course in the common senior high school, investigated and analyzed the beginning level of students in information technology, combined layered teaching with autonomous, cooperative, exploratory method, took action through practice-rethinking-improvement-practice again to carry on the practice research, trying to find a method which is suitable for local information technology teaching in senior high school and is good for the enhancement in information literacy of all students.This paper is divided into six chapters: the first chapter discussed the background, purpose, significance and methods of the study, and discusses the research status at home and abroad. Chapter II summarized the layered teaching, including the connotation, theoretical basis and general organizational forms of layered teaching. Chapter III demonstrated the feasibility to apply layered teaching into information technology in the common senior high school, including traditional teaching situation in information technology teaching, the results and analysis of the survey about the students'beginning level in information technology. Chapter IV discussed the key influencing factor that should be considered when apply the layered teaching to the information technology teaching. Chapter V gave the action research and teaching examples of layered teaching and discussed research findings. Chapter VI, the last chapter, generalized the study, gave the results, limitations and prospects of the study.
