The practice in the Middle School Language and Culture teaching is one way to put the literary theory into practice.However, the fact of the Middle School Language and Culture teaching shows us that we nearly can not find the trace of the guide of the literary theory. The realistic situation is always be,"From the Sensation, To the Sensation."As a result of this"Sensation teaching",the answer is the only thing gained by the students.The situation mentained before is the reason for the misunderstanding that the Middle School language and culture teaching is useless, but also be against the Curriculum Standards, affecting the students' social practice, as well.As the olds saying,"You can not make bricks without straw." As to practice this proverb, we try to introduce an approach of interpreting to article into the Middle School Language and Culture teaching. In order to make the students to know the answer, but also to know the approach to gain the answer. As to us, the approach to gain the answer is most important on the reading-teaching.Consequently,a comprehensive Read Method,Socio-rhetorical Criticism,is selected to use in this paper.The Socio-rhetorical Criticism offers an overall viewing angle with all the methods to read the article,it trys to develop every method's strength, make all the methods one.So,it is suitable for the middle school's reading-teaching.Otherwise,we selcted LuXun's famous work GuXiang, which means hometown in English, as a sample to show how to put the method into the practice, hoping making this practice as an introduction to pave a way for the further study.
