| The application of information technology in rural schools is increasing with modern information technology applications in education widely and highly value by government. Various kinds of teaching softwares with great functions emerge in endlessly. GeoGebra is one of them. In order to reduce the digitized gap between city and country, quicken the course of informatization for rural schools, promote the integration of information technology, increase teaching efficiency, stimulate academic motivation,and advance many kinds of abilities of students, combining the hardware supporting of schools and the existing equipments, I used GeoGebra in middle school mathematics teaching. Purpose is to propose a specific application strategy of GeoGebra in teaching of rural junior middle schools.This research selected students and teachers from grade 8 in junior middle school NO.1 at Runan which is local in the rural areas. Checked effectiveness of GeoGebra, and revising these strategies according to results. The main methods and specific process is as follows:Firstly, this literature review applications of teaching of mathematics education at home and abroad on the application of GeoGebra, the paper summarizes the status of student learning and the feasibility of the application of GeoGebra in mathematics teaching in the rural areas that based on the literature review of interviewing with teachers, making an investigation in experimental school and summarize the habits of students learning mathematics. Secondly, I summarized research results have been and analysis survey results and combined with the characteristics of middle school mathematics textbooks and students features. According these I arrived at several strategies of the application of GeoGebra in mathematics teaching in primary middle school in the rural areas and elaborated from four aspects: conditions, pattern, process and principles. Thirdly, to experimental research and action research,author used the strategies in actual mathematics teaching and observed and recorded teaching process. This was during four weeks. According different teaching contents (the different characteristics of algebra and geometry ). Author chose appropriate teaching cases and Verify the effectiveness of the strategy after teaching phase according to analysis and experimental of the cases. Lastly, analysis of results, finding shortcomings, improving and modifying the original strategies.The main results of the research summed up the whole GeoGebra strategies, defined using conditions: the necessary hardware support, appropriate teaching content, the application in appropriate time; Proposeing three different ways to use strategies: as a teaching tool of preparing, as a teaching tool of passing, and as a tool for students to independently explore; to develop specific process of three different ways and described the detailed steps of pplications of GeoGebra in the classroom; proposing principles of the application of Strategies: effectiveness, supporting, fun; and puting forward some issues that need attention when using strategies.Data analysising shows that the strategies can help students improving their mark, stimulating learning motivation and promoting the development of student's mathematical - logical intelligence and visual - spatial Intelligence, mobilizing students to participate interactive in classroom, and raising their hands-on skills and promote student learning transfer from occurring. So effectiveness of the strategies of application of GeoGebra has been fully confirmed. So this strategies is valuing to application and popularized in junior middle schools at rural areas and even in city schools and high school mathematics teaching. |
