| The star hotel, a comprehensive enterprise, is the place for commercial, tourism, recreation, holidays when the current social developped and the people's living standards increased. Hotel is the original industry to introduce public relations thoughts. In the 1980s, the sino- foreign joint ventures in Guangdong's hotel attract overseas managing mode, set up public relations department, responsible for carrying out public relations activities .So, public relations as an important function in the hotels and other industries found wide application. However, is not optimistic about the status of the star hotel management. There are many problems. Therefore, the text suggests the countermeasures for the status of public relation management in star hotels.This article falls into five sections.
