Reflection On The University Construction Of Counselors Group Under A New Situation

Under a new situation, the world competition is becoming hotter and hotter. The knowledge-based economy has increasingly dominated the world, so countries across the world have focused on the competition of talents. The colleges and universities being an important base to cultivate the talents, counselors are special groups in the university teaching staff, who are the backbone of carrying out the ideological and political education. Because they are the organizers, doers and guides of the ideological and political education and management, the construction of counselors group is vital to cultivating the talents in colleges and universities. But at present there exist some problems: unsteady construction of counselors group; poor professional level; unclear job responsibility; low sense of career identification; career burnout because of heavy burden. Therefore, in combination with the popularization, internationalization and informatization of higher education, as well as the university reform of the credit system, colleges and universities should strengthen the construction of counselors group.Based on the concept of counselors and core of counselors, this paper borrows the research experience of the counselors group at home and abroad to illustrate the new situation before the construction of counselors group and analyze its existing problems. According to Masinuo Level Theoretical Analysis and Motivation Theory, this paper probes into the new approach and measures to strengthen the construction of counselors group: improving the development ways; holding development directions; knowing the function orientation; promoting career identity; innovating ideas and methods; diminishing career burnout.
